Hello :) I am Allison Wong, currently a year 2 student.
This is my third year of full-time teaching. I teach in a secondary school in Fanling. The students are rather obedient but not keen on learning English (of course there are some English fans, but not many). My school is traditionally stronger at non-language subjects (e.g. Mathematics, History, Chemistry...).
RELATION WITH E-LEARNING
Powerpoint is my best buddy. Slides can help me to organise my ideas and remind me of things to do in class.
I often use Google in my lesson planning. My game ideas are mostly from online. Teachers blog about their experience and latest 'development' of ENLT. 'Teachingenglish" (by British Council), 'Dave's ESL Cafe', 'busyteacher' etc. are websites that I visit frequently for ideas and plans.
Youtube and TEDtalks are essential in/ out of classroom.
Apart from the above, I don't use much applications/ e-learning tools.
I have a schoology account because I joined a CUHK workshop (flipped classroom) before. Login details is at the back of my mind. ><
I strongly hope that I will feel more comfortable in using e-learning tools after this course. Learning has become increasingly reliant on technology. I want to be an up-to-date teacher, ready to experiment with latest app/ platform.

Travelling to japan, watching films, drama, musical, anime, reading (occasionally) and EATING
